Physio at home
World Health Organisation
The WHO completed a report called “Neurological Disorders: Public Health Challenges”. The report highlighted that:
Rehabilitation should start as soon as possible after the diagnosis of a neurological disorder
Rehabilitation should focus on the community rehabilitation perspective
Community based rehabilitation has successfully influenced the quality of life and participation in those who receive it
Department of Health
The DofH issued a paper called “National service framework: long-term conditions”. It highlighted the need for assessment and rehabilitation at home.
Unfortunately, this need can’t always be met in good time by local services. We aim to bridge that gap, whilst always ensuring you can access the local services you are entitled to.

Condition specific resources
It always helps to have trusted sources of information to go to when you are trying to understand a diagnosis, planning your therapy, or seeking out others who share your experiences.
